In that verse we saw how love is an action word, not simply a feeling. This verse compliments that one by demonstrating love as a weapon against fear and a strong foundation from God that we can rely on.

Proverbs A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. This verse is great for the husband to use to compliment their wife! No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This verse verbalizes the power of what loving someone means. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By thisis love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.

For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you. Ephesians Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
