Turtle beach x1 setup xbox 360
If this is your first headset and you are just looking for headphones to quit annoying roomates, children, house alien or whatever i would get the x1s they are cheap fantastic deal and according to my friend that owns them sturdy and pretty reliable.
If you do want that high and you are crazy like me i would suggest astro a40s they are super expensive but worth every penny. The Surround sound is fantastic i mainly play CoD4 and haven't been knifed in the back since getting them. So if you are staying cheap the x1s and x3s are fantastic and great but if you are going higher end avoid TB its not their market in fact they are bad up there go with one of the others tritton and astro.
I already have a pair of the standard 20 dollar set and also play COD4 quite a bit. I'm just looking for better headphones and these two came to mind. I heard that the x3's were obviously better but are the X1's that much worse. And how do they compare to the 20 dollar pair? I got the X3's the other week, really like them, i have them hooked up to my TV so I get sound for all my inputs, sky box, PC and The only thing, and i should have noticed this when buying them is they are infrared so the range is not great so if i leave my room the sound drops out.
This is not a massive problem as i need to be in my room to play play my , but if i'm listening to music on my PC and go to the kitchen or something no more music.
Like i say minor thing and i should have noticed when buying. They make playing any game a lot more fun, but especially MW3 and Skyrim. Cons: I was kind of disappointed that the headset tends to crackle a little when you turn on the bass amplifier.
Not anything to take it back over but for so much money I wasn't expecting that. After a while I totally forgot about it and it wasn't a problem. Overall Review: Yeah, it's a lot of money.
Could they have designed the headset to make you feel like you're getting a better product for what you're paying?
Really, it's the sound that makes these things worth it in the end. Plus they're actually pretty comfortable and you really do forget you have them on after a while. Buy them and compare them to whatever you're using now, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Overall Review: only have a little interference with my wireless router, nothing to bad. Pros: I'm no audiophile but this headset to me is crystal clear and great quality.
I'll say I am extremely happy with mine. The 7. Footsteps come in great as do gunshots with a crisp sound. The X41 are very comfortable for hours on end of game play. I am kind of ashamed to say it but I've played around hours on end with complete comfort. The ear cup is nice and deep which is important to me because I previously had a Razer headset and the tips of my ears would touch the inside of the headphone which was horribly uncomfortable after an hour or two.
I personally love how light they are. The mic works great after the echo fix and people sound great on playback. Setup is a breeze, just plug and play pretty much. Volume is nice and loud and has a great bass sound, but you have to have the bass boost on! Cons: From personal use I dispute others Cons, 1 I have heard a pop twice. If you don't have the mic jack pluged in all the way or it is loose it will pop.
It's wireless this is expected. Only time i get it is when I walk to the fridge 15 feet away. I have played hours with no replacing batteries and no pops. After 8 hours I will replace regardless. Overall Review: to use the mic you must buy an adapter for the pc. To fix the Echo I unpluged the mic jack from the headset and Xbox controller. Then unpluged the mic. Plug everything back in making sure it is all pluged in tight and secure. You should be good to go.
Room for improvement, Like I said I really enjoy my headset but there is always room for improvement even if it is just being picky. A little extra volume and another level of bass boost would be great. A battery life meter on the side of the headset would be nice. Pros: Totally loving this headset, I recommend to all the gamer who loves to play there favorites game because you will not regret a single bit.
The sounds are awesome, easy to installed, just plug and used. Cons: So far I haven't have any problem with this headset yet and I hope this unit will last quite a long time. Add to cart. The thing that really hits you at this moment is the number of cables that these headphone require.
However once setup the only cable seen is the headphones cable depending how you set them up. Now for the sound quality of the headphones themselves.
I first hit the music player and played some Jazz through them and was quite impressed with the depth of sound, although the midrange could have been better. Next up was some Techno and I have to say this is where these headphones really excel.
